Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is an authentication method that requires the use of two separate passwords to operate your account: your password and a temporary code generated by an authentication app on your mobile device.
To provide additional security for your account, we offer you the option to enable 2FA to protect your Fiat and Token withdrawal transactions.
To enable 2FA, you need a compatible app that generates the second temporary security password whenever requested. Specifically, we recommend using the free Google Authenticator app.
To activate 2FA on your Starcks account, follow these simple steps:
- Install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device from the appropriate store.
- In the Settings section of the Starcks App, you will find an option to activate 2FA.
- Follow the instructions to connect the Google Authenticator app to your account.
- Once Google Authenticator is connected, it will generate a temporary 6-digit verification code (OTP) that you will need to enter each time you are prompted.
Please note that once activated, OTP verification is required to deactivate 2FA.
To duplicate your 2FA key on other mobile devices, please refer to the official Google Authenticator documentation.
If you lose the mobile device on which you have configured 2FA or accidentally lose your 2FA configuration, please contact our Customer Care team.
Your security is one of our top priorities, and we strongly encourage you to use 2FA to protect your assets. If you need assistance or have questions about activating 2FA, our support team is here to help.
